The Geographic Information System Center organized a workshop titled (Dubai Digital Twin) in the presence of Eng. Maitha Al Nuaimi, GISC Director and a number of strategic partners from government entities .During the workshop ,the team presented the pilot project of the Digital Twin ,which represents an exact digital replica of the city of Dubai in the form of 2D and 3D maps containing all assests, landmarks, and facilities. The workshop covered the latest technologies used in the project and the importance of the digital twin in the field of the GIS .It also discussed how it can be integrated with DubaiHere system to make Dubai a global destination for smart cities.
