Investigate the various aspects of creating a 3D city model highlighting international experiences and various standards and carryout creating a 3D City model for one or part of a UAE city using CityGML.

Identifying building data QC parameters and developing quality checking models.

Identify quality checking parameters which can be considered in a routine quality checking and develop models of QC model based on ArcGIS Data review and FME and presents comparison results between these two models in terms of accuracy, speed and efficiency.

GIS Data Modeling

Implementing ISO 19110:2016 and ISO 19115-1  for feature cataloguing and GIS Metadata.

"ISO 19110 specifies how feature types can be organized into a feature catalogue and presented to the users of a set of geographic data. It does not provide advice on how to decide which feature types are relevant for a particular application. That is the subject of domain models. However, the ISO 19110 feature catalogue can be automatically generated from the ISO 19109 application schema. It can be in both human readable tabular form (in HTML, or a Word or PDF file) and a machine-readable XML form. This Standard initiated for Meta Data Standard in GISC to Conformant to ISO 19115:2014 .The main principals are Metadata Identification, Data Idenfitication, Quality, Updating, Use and Constraints, and there is a specific Lookup Tables which recommended to support filling meta-data which is: Benificiary and Possible data users, Operations allowed, Restriction Code, Data Access Limitation, Data Collection method, Data Updating Frequency, QA/QC approach or standard, Coverage Area, Spatial Representation Type, Spatial Resolution, Geometry and Theme Sector."

Investigate methods of carryout mobile LiDAR point cloud processing, classification and 3D vector data extraction. Design and implement a process of carrying out such work and compare results with existing data to present process assessment results.
