The GISC Department participates in the municipal professions initiative launched by Dubai Municipality. The initiative aims to introduce school students to the Municipality’s fields and sectors and its various professions. The center welcomed a number of students who took an introductory tour in the geospatial experiments area to know more about the most important services, projects and geospatial systems used in the center, including the Dubai Digital Twin project and Aerial Photos of Dubai, as well as the Geospatial Scanning Vehicle (GeoLidar) and its most prominent features.
