His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, unveiled the new corporate identity of Dubai Municipality at the Seventh World Government Summit (WFS) on February 10, 2019. Dawood Al Hajri, Director General of Dubai Municipality, revealed the new corporate identity, which is based on four basic principles: competitiveness; innovation; responsibility; and participation, on the first day of the World Government Summit.
On this occasion, Al-Hajri said, “The adoption of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to the new corporate identity of the Municipality comes in line with 2021 Dubai's plan and the Dubai Municipality's strategy, where the new corporate identity of the Municipality aims to reflect the nature of the department in competitiveness, innovation, responsibility and participation.
