Based on the
wise leadership’s vision and the strategic guidance of Dubai’s Emirate and the
keenness to strengthening cooperation and coordination between Dubai
Municipality and Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company – Du in the geospatial
infrastructure field, the Municipality, represented by the GIS Center, signed
a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Emirates Integrated
Telecommunications Company – Du. This agreement aims to combine efforts to provide a
comprehensive, unified and updated base-map in Dubai. The MoU was signed
by Eng. Maryam Almeheiri Director of the GIS center , and Mr Fahad Al Hassawi Chief
Executive Officer (Acting).
