Based on the keenness of the GIS Center in Dubai Municipality to show the best practices and cooperate with different entities, it held a virtual meeting with Etisalat Corporation. During that meeting, the center displayed the initiatives and projects, which aim to provide a comprehensive geospatial database that supports the development of the infrastructure, the urban planning and the quality of life as well as other fields. Among these initiatives and projects are the following: GeoDubai initiative, Makani and Dubai Here systems, in addition to introducing other geospatial services provided by the center.
