Dubai Municipality has obtained the certificate of knowledge asset registration, as intellectual, of “Dubai North Arrow", thanks to the efforts of the Geographic Information Systems Center's employees: Mohammed Al-Marzooqi, Hassan Ateg Al-Baloshi, Maryam Mohammed Aal Ali, Badriya Ali Abdulla BinMalek and Mohannad Adel Doghmosh.
Dubai North Arrow is a Unified Standard North Arrow used in the geographic maps production software's, official engineering drawings and geographic maps for Dubai's Emirate. Its goal is to use a Standard North Arrow by all users in Dubai Municipality and all members of the geospatial community in Dubai, thus reducing the map design time for the user and unified the Maps elements.
