The GIS Center in Dubai Municipality launched the initiative "Who is our Happy Employee?" on International Happiness Day which falls on March 20 of each year. This is to establish concepts of happiness and to spread positivity among employees and in the work environment. The happy employee was chosen by the Center's employees, in which the employee who makes them happy and always provides them with positive energy is nominated. They were thanked and honored by the Director of the Center, Eng. Maryam Al-Muhairi.​
