Dubai Municipality, represented by the GIS Center, received the Construction Technology Award 2022 for the Dubai Digital Twin project, which represents a digital map of the Emirate of Dubai that displays live geospatial data through a 3D geospatial database that contains maps and information for all facilities, landmarks, and infrastructure and government assets. The award aims to celebrate new approaches and best-in-class use of technology within the built environment, during the Construction Technology Festival in Dubai, which was held between 7th and 8th June 2022.
